An exciting opportunity for a seasoned Cyber Security Manager to join a leading transportation organisation in South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the organisation's information security standards.

Description

  • Develop and implement effective security policies and procedures
  • Perform the day-to-day risk assessment and compliance duties
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on security threats and propose solutions
  • Lead and coordinate cyber security projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to information security
  • Manage relationships with external security vendors and consultants
  • Train and mentor staff in cyber security best practices
  • Conduct regular system audits to detect vulnerabilities

Profile

  • Relevant academic qualifications in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven experience in IT Governance, Risk and Compliance
  • Strong knowledge of security standards and regulations (NIST, ISO27001, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex security issues to non-technical staff
  • Holder of or eligible to be SC Cleared
