An exciting opportunity for a seasoned Cyber Security Manager to join a leading transportation organisation in South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the organisation's information security standards.

Description
- Develop and implement effective security policies and procedures
- Perform the day-to-day risk assessment and compliance duties
- Provide regular reports to senior management on security threats and propose solutions
- Lead and coordinate cyber security projects
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to information security
- Manage relationships with external security vendors and consultants
- Train and mentor staff in cyber security best practices
- Conduct regular system audits to detect vulnerabilities
Profile
- Relevant academic qualifications in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in IT Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Strong knowledge of security standards and regulations (NIST, ISO27001, etc.)
- Good knowledge in IT Infrastructure & Networking
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex security issues to non-technical staff
- Holder of or eligible to be SC Cleared
