Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Production Manager by a specialist high volume manufacturing business. In this role you will support the Manufacturing Operations Manager in driving the production performance across a rapidly expanding specialist business unit. You will be key in setting and delivering goals and improvements for output ,quality, waste , H&S ,efficiency and culture

As the ideal candidate you will have experience in a volume manufacturing business, with the ability to develop behaviour, engagement, lean thinking, best practice and skills across the production team.

Your role will involve:

  • Contribute to the development of the companys corporate strategy and lead strategy
  • development in the production area
  • Direct and control the production function to ensure that finished goods of the required
  • Quality standard are available to customer within agreed costs and at the right times.
  • Develop the Team especially team leaders, train, support and give one to one advice where needed.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with all other managers to coordinate company activities in support of business objectives.
  • Leading and encouraging lean activities across the site
  • Maintain critical focus on waste and improvements to yield
  • Lead and Drive 6S to exceptional standards
