Kingscroft has been asked to recruit for an Expeditor / Buyer for a specialist high volume manufacturer. As the ideal candidate you will have worked in a fast paced manufacturing operation and be skilled at delivering efficient material supply through scheduling, supplier liaison, stock control and process improvements.

The role would suit a skilled Production Administrator, Expeditor, or Production Buyer capable of working within pre-negotiated contracts. You must be a great communicator, numerically strong, proactive and really well organised.


As a Production Buyer you will:

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials between departments, ensuring the timely completion of production orders.
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure optimal material and stock levels.
  • Collaborate with production planning, management, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule production activities.
  • Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring that materials and supplies are available when needed.
  • Buying and ordering of stock and material
  • Manage supplier data to help evaluate strategic purchasing decisions
