Your new companyMy client is a manufacturing company based in South Wales who are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Leader to be part of the senior Management, where you'll lead and optimise our end-to-end supply chain. This is a great opportunity for someone to take their first step into management of a Supply Chain to develop their career. Your new role
- Order Management (from order entry to delivery to customer)
- Develop production plans according to order intake, sales forecast, components availability and manufacturing capacity;
- Manage company inventory: develop and implement inventory management strategies to reduce working capital and ensure high service to customers
- Work directly with suppliers
- Be responsible for communication with Sales Units in Europe about status of orders and timely delivery;
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction;
- Key member in a small team;
- Drive optimization by maximum usage of SAP and other IT tools
- Ensure proper change management while upgrading and implementing new tools & processes;
- Take active role in monthly S&OP cycle
What you'll need to succeed
- You must have knowledge and worked in Supply Chain
- Knowledge and use of SAP
- Able to work full time on-site
- Be a strong communicator at all levels of the organisation
- Confident to work independently
