Reed Further Education are searching for a Health & Social Care Lecturer to work with a college on a temporary basis. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching to students from Level 2 to Level 3. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the educational experience and achieving excellent student outcomes.

The college has a part time (16 hour) timetable available.

Job Title: Health & Social Care Lecturer

Location: Aberdare

Salary: ÂŁ23p/h - ÂŁ28p/h including holiday pay

Role Type: Temporary

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lectures to students at level 2 & 3 Health & Social Care and Children’s Care, Play, Learning & Development
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials based on the curriculum requirements.
  • Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, assessments, and grades.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must hold a relevant degree/ qualification in Health & Social Care or a related field.
  • Prior teaching experience in Health & Social Care or a related subject
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
