Our client is currently recruiting for a Systems Accountant. Based in Aberdeen, the role is on a contract basis and offers hybrid working.

ROLE

Provide systems support to the Finance function and the wider business in relation to security access.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct SAP Support
  • Creation of master-data in-line with local standards
  • Execute month end processes in line with timetable
  • Perform system functional integrity testing where appropriate
  • Troubleshoot any system issues for the UK Finance Group
  • Assignment of Systems Security
  • Maintain system DOA and SOD compliance
  • Perform periodic control reviews and continuous control monitoring
  • Liaising with business on process enhancements.
  • Participating in projects relating to the finance function which have a systems dimension or impact
  • Internal and External audit support as required

Other Activities

  • Support company initiatives such as System Integration projects as required
  • Any other duty as instructed by your Line Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • UK North Sea experience required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience of Financial Systems
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at interacting with individuals at all levels in the organisation
  • Focus on service delivery to business and functions
  • Flexible and responsive to stakeholder requirements and changing environment
  • Ability to deliver high quality work by deadlines and work effectively under time pressure
  • Ability to work on own initiative, proactively drive change, take responsibility and manage tasks through to completion
  • Open, honest and reliable
