Cammach are recruiting a ROV Workshop Technician on behalf of our growing client based in Aberdeen. In this role you will work alongside some of the biggest brands in the Energy Sector.

As ROV Workshop Technician on behalf our client you will refine your existing Mechanical / Hydraulic skills and apply them to ROV tooling and Manipulator systems, working alongside a tight knit team you will become a subject matter expert and develop your career.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £ 40,000 - £44,000 DOE + Overtime

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strip, inspect and asses subsea hydraulic and mechanical systems such as ROB tools and rate-controlled manipulator systems
  • Conduct repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance tasks on hydraulic and mechanical equipment, ensuring adherence to company standards and specifications
  • Produce through assessment reports, including photographs, fault identification and recommended repair actions
  • Prepare accurate cost quotations for repairs based on assessments
  • Ensure parts and consumables are available and track usage for efficient workshop operations
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship, following company and industry quality protocols
  • Provide support during equipment testing or mobilisation at client sites, as required
  • Responsible for goo workshop and office housekeeping
  • Excellent awareness of H+S within a workshop/ office environment

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working with Mechanical and hydraulic equipment essential
  • Time Served Mechanical / Hydraulic Technician
  • Knowledge / experience of ROV tooling and rate controlled manipulator systems desirable
  • Basic knowledge of computing tasks to create engineering reports and costs
  • Full UK driving licence desirable
  • Ability to work in a customer facing role, maintaining professional image at all times
  • Comfortable working as part of a small, tight knit team
