We are looking for a Multimodal Freight Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods via various modes including air, sea, and land. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation while maintaining strong relationships with carriers and clients.

Job Type - Full time -Permanent
Shift Pattern: 8.30am- 5.30pm Monday- Friday
Salary: Up to 32,000 (Dependant on experience)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the transportation of goods via different modes including air, sea, road, and rail.
- Communicate with carriers and shippers to secure transportation arrangements.
- Track and monitor the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery.
- Evaluate transportation costs and negotiate rates with carriers to achieve cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and documentation requirements.
- Handle any transportation issues or delays and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics and transportation coordination.
- Familiarity with various modes of transportation including air, sea, road, and rail.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and documentation requirements.
- Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office.
