Our client, a leading wholesale distributor in the motor trade across the North of Scotland, is looking for an Operations/Sales Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering operational efficiency while driving sales growth. This key role will oversee operations at the Aberdeen and Dundee depots, ensuring exceptional customer service and profitable sales outcomes.

What Youll Do:

1. Lead Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflows, optimised processes, and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and efficiency across all teams.

2. Drive Sales Performance:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to set and achieve ambitious targets.

3. Team Leadership:

  • Inspire and manage a skilled team, ensuring accountability and fostering professional development.
  • Lead by example to motivate staff and create a culture of success.

4. Strategic Planning and Budget Management:

  • Develop and implement operational and sales strategies that align with the company's long-term goals.
  • Manage budgets effectively to meet financial objectives, improve profitability, and minimise costs.

What Were Looking For:

  • Demonstrated success in operations and sales management roles, preferably in the service or retail sectors.
  • A strong ability to lead teams and deliver on both KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Experience in budget management, financial oversight, and cost-efficiency strategies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational compliance standards, including Health & Safety.
  • A willingness to travel between the Aberdeen and Dundee depots as required.
