Cammach are recruiting for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer for a well established, progressive Client. Experience in product lines such as wireline equipment and topside/subsea control systems would be essential.
ROLE
The primary responsibility of the role is to build strong client relationships, deliver high quality technical solutions and paly and integral part in the development and delivery of equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate new business opportunities and drive sales across a range of product lines, including wireline and subsea/topside control equipment.
- Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, identifying client requirements and providing tailored engineering solutions.
- Support the full lifecycle of product development — from concept through delivery — ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
- Prepare and deliver technical input for bids, proposals, and quotations.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and continuous improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and competitive positioning to identify and pursue strategic opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role within the oil & gas or energy sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and control equipment (topside and/or subsea).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Requirements & Experience:
- Familiarity with well intervention and subsea well access operations, including related equipment requirements.
- Background in the Oil & Gas, Offshore, or Renewables industry.
- Prior experience in a commercial/tendering environment.
- Established network within global service companies is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to think critically and resolve challenges with an enthusiastic, articulate, and solution-oriented approach.
- A reliable self-starter, able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
