Plater / Welders / Fabricator

With over thirty-five years' experience, and in-house fabrication, machining, blast cleaning and industrial coating capabilities, They provides customers with a complete range of turnkey solutions.
We are currently looking for a Nightshift Fabricator/Platers
Main purpose of Job:
- To mark, cut, shape, assemble and tack weld structural fabrications as customer approved drawings, to specification and within tolerances
- Using a variety of metals including Carbon Steel, Aluminum & Stainless Steel.
Health, Safety and Environmental
- Comply with the organisations HSEQ policy and procedure requirements including Risk Assessments, PPE Instructions and other Safe Working Instructions.
- Perform tasks as directed and in accordance with Job Initiation Pack and approved drawings ensuring assigned work is clearly understood before commencing
- .Conduct pre-use visual checks on machines prior to commencing work to ensure equipment is fit for purpose and safe ie. They are no signs of damage, defect or disrepair. Notify your immediate Supervisor of damage, defect or disrepair
- .Check condition of cables of equipment prior to commencing work activities
- .Maintain a clean and tidy work area before, during and after completing work. Dispose of waste using the correct bins/skips provided for segregation.
You must have:
- a recognised qualified trade, training and qualifications applicable to a Fabricator/welder
- previous welding experience
- Weld Qualifications advantageous
- Experience in working in-house machinery and equipment.
- The ability to work in both Metric & Imperial units.
- An understanding of drawings/technical data.
