We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at a prestigious seafood establishment in Aberdeen. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high culinary standards that define our restaurant. Responsibilities

Food Preparation: Prepare and cook seafood dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to detail.

Station Management: Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., fish, shellfish, or grill) and ensure smooth operations during service.

Quality Control: Maintain consistent quality by adhering to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.

Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including sous chefs and commis chefs, to ensure efficient teamwork.

Hygiene and Safety: Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Menu Development: Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and specials, showcasing Scotland’s finest seafood.

Training: Mentor junior chefs and commis chefs, fostering their growth and development.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant, preferably with seafood expertise however all applications will be considered.

Culinary Skills: Proficiency in seafood preparation, cooking techniques, and flavour combinations.

Creativity: Ability to elevate classic dishes and create innovative seafood offerings.

Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Certifications: Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher).
