Cammach have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer for a leading Fabrication client in Aberdeen. This is for an expanding progressive client and would suit candidates with experience in the Fabrication sector.

ROLE

The main purpose of the role is to assist in the efficient Running of all manufacturing contracts to national and client specifications and requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Estimating work scopes on receipt of RFQs in a timely manner utilising schedule of rates.
  • Compiling Bill of materials for procurement.
  • Reviewing project isometrics in conjunction with QC to ensure isometrics for fabrication purposes have been checked and approved by client design
  • Liaise with clients regarding despatch and delivery of work scopes ensuring requirements are met
  • Project Cost controls for all fabrication work scopes
  • Verification that all items required to be delivered to the client are available and in the correct quantity
  • Updating Monday Planning Tool to ensure that reports on the location of items required by senior management are correct
  • Confirmation of deliveries within Monday Planning Tool
  • Participate in the organization of client’s inspectors with QC & DCC to ensure items are ready for client inspection as required
  • Participate in any quality investigations to identify root causes and apply actions to prevent recurrence.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of relevant software utilised by the company.
  • Knowledge of international standards such as Pressure Equipment Directive, EMMUA 158, EMMUA 197, ASME B31.3 & PD5500
  • Project planning controls
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems
