Site Engineer – Freelance Contract

Our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor, is seeking a skilled Site Engineer for an exciting 6-8 week contract based in Aberdeen. 

• Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance for the project, ensuring all work meets the highest standards.

• Setting Out: Accurately set out bases and ducting to ensure correct alignment and positioning.

• Documentation: Complete check sheets, ensuring all required records are maintained for the project.

• Support the Site Manager by taking on more responsibility for day-to-day tasks, enabling the site manager to focus on higher-level project coordination.

• Proven experience in civil engineering projects, with a focus on ducting and base works.

• Ability to set out works accurately and carry out quality control procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing tasks on-site.

• Valid CSCS card is essential.

• Competitive rate based on experience.
