We're seeking a skilled and experienced groundworker to join our team on an ongoing contract basis in Aberdeen. This role involves a variety of challenging and rewarding tasks within the civils sector, including drainage, concreting, and ground preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Excavating and preparing ground for various construction projects.
- Laying and installing drainage systems, including pipes, manholes, and associated components.
- Pouring and finishing concrete for foundations, slabs, and other structures.
- Operating various groundworks machinery safely and efficiently (e.g., excavators, dumpers, compaction equipment).
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Working effectively as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a groundworker in a variety of civils tasks, including drainage, concreting, and ground preparation.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in operating various groundworks machinery.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A reliable and hardworking attitude.
- A willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges.
