CNC Machinist
Job Role
To produce components according to drawing specifications or specific instructions while consistently adhering to housekeeping and safety procedures.
Main duties
- Set up and operate CNC machine tools.
- Verify that all relevant drawings, procedures, and instructions are up to date before starting work.
- Handle materials and tools safely.
- Operate the machine safely and competently according to the manufacturer's instructions, maintaining safety and housekeeping standards as per QHSE policies and procedures.
- Inspect the manufactured component after completing the operation before release.
- Keep the work area clean, wear appropriate safety equipment at all times.
- Assist in the training of apprentices.
- Report any environmental and health & safety issues that arise.
- Maintain material certification and traceability for all materials used.
- Mentor developing machinists within the manufacturing team.
Remuneration
On offer is a salary of up to 39500
