CNC Machinist required for my client based in Aberdeen who work within the oilfield equipment manufacturing industry.
The successful CNC Machinist will need to have Heidenheim programming experience to be considered for the position.
CNC Machinist Position Overview
- The CNC Machinist will carry out all aspects of machining work required on new products and client supplied equipment utilising machines as detailed in route sheet instructions.
- Machine Manufacture of products to controlled drawings and route sheet instructions.
- Machine preparation of valves and equipment for welding.
- Machine finishing of valves and equipment after welding and PWHT - maintaining traceability at all stages of production.
- Carry out daily maintenance routines on machines.
CNC Machinist Position Requirements
- Experience in operation of CNC machines is essential.
- Heidenheim TNC Control and programming experience is essential.
- Need to have experience in the operation of CNC Milling.
- 5 years' experience working as a CNC machinist.
- Use of Fanuc controls would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be given.
- Based within a commutable distance of Aberdeen.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
CNC Machinist Position Remuneration
- Salary - £20.54 per hour.
- 8-hour shift / 40-hour week with ½ hour unpaid lunch break.
- Day Shift - 08:00am to 16:30pm Monday to Friday.
- Holiday package - 30 days including bank holiday.
