Job Overview:
As a Construction Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and administering all aspects of construction projects. You will play a critical role liaising with project design teams, Site Managers and Engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of Subcontractors, cost control, and direct labour management.
Supervising Project Managers, Site Managers and Engineers.
Monitor contract compliance, ensuring that all parties meet their contractual obligations.
Identify and manage potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve any disputes or issues.
Determine labour and material requirements for each site.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on contract status, risks, and financial performance.
Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Construction Contracts Manager, Contract Administrator, or similar role in the construction industry.
Driving licence.
SMSTS.
CSCS Manager card.
Management qualification NVQ/SVQ of level 5 or above.
First Aid at Work-3day course.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
