Business Retail Manager

Location - Aberdeen

Salary - £31,500 per annum + bonus and other benefits

Full time - permanent

We are recruiting for a Business Retail Manager for a retail brand based at Aberdeen Airport within the retail travel industry. This is a position where you will use your team management skills to work with Supervisors and Sales Advisors to motivate, mentor and lead to ensure excellent standards.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure a delivery of high level customer service
  • Managing a team of Supervisors and Sales Advisors to ensure great presentation of the store through effective stock management, ordering, receiving deliveries and ticketing.
  • Manage stocktakes every 6 months and report results
  • Ensure great team communication at all times and supporting colleagues to fulfil role responsibilities
  • Gain a high standard of product knowledge and use this to coach and develop the team
  • Organise brand training sessions with brand partners
  • Ensure all staff members complete all training to a high standard
  • Use of internal systems to manage sales and stock holding targets
  • Ensure all promotional activities are within brand and internal guidelines
  • Manage staff rotas, including agency staff where needed
  • Manage health and safety standards throughout the shop floor and back office areas
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with the team and develop a succession pipeline
  • Manage all HR requirements within the team
  • Ensure the security of stock on the shop floor and compliance of till inventory
  • Awareness of potential security risks for the store and the wider airport
  • Manage airport pass process for the team and store visitors
