Major Aberdeen are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for our client based in Aberdeen Harbour area. This is a full time, permanent position.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Service outboard and inboard diesel and petrol Fast Rescue Craft
- Repair outboard and inboard diesel and petrol Fast Rescue Craft
- Carry out inflatable & fibre glass repairs to rescue boats when required
- Deliveries to and collections of items from the fleet of vessels in Aberdeen Harbour
- General duties in our Rescue Boat workshop and on board vessels while in port
Qualifications Required:
- Time served Mechanic
- Standard Grade pass or equivalent in Maths and English
- Time served Mechanic
- Full driving licence
- Computer literate to a basic standard
