An opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a reputable Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen is now available. Reporting to the Engineering Management you will be working with mechanical designs being an integral part of the team when bringing ideas to life. You will be joining a company with an impressive history, demonstrating strong growth over the years.
Responsibilities:
- Develop designs for mechanical systems and create 3D models.
- Use software tools such as Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
- Work closely with prototype developments.
- Handle documentation for all mechanical designs.
- Provide regular progress reports.
Required:
- A degree in a Mechanical or similar discipline.
- At least 2 years of working experience in Mechanical Design.
- Knowledge of Inventor, Vault and MathCAD.
- A mindset that is open to learning.
- Strong communication skills.
