Substation Project Engineer

Key duties & responsibilities:
路 Creating outline scope, site location plans, primary plant layout and Single Line Diagrams for new build and asset replacement type projects, operating up to 400kV.
路 Reviewing contractor/consultants detailed designs and witnessing Factory Acceptance Testing.
路 Implementing safety by design principles to ensure that engineering and safety risks are adequately controlled.
路 Support site and operational teams to ensure the quality of installations, with minimal risk to Network security.
路 Evaluate tenders and procure and manage specialist services from consultants
Essential Qualifications:
路Candidates must be degree qualified electrical engineers to be considered for this role.
路Previous Transmission experience required.
路A minimum of 3+ Years substation project engineer experience up to 400kV
路Proven experience in high-voltage substation design, operation, and maintenance.
路Proficiency in project management
路Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
