Engage Talent Partners are working with our Aberdeen-based client to recruit for a Calibration Engineer.

Reporting to the Group Technical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring all instruments meet manufacturing and industry standards, while supporting the wide technical team with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine servicing and minor repairs on instruments.
  • Accurately document calibration results in line with company guidelines.
  • Calibrate marine survey equipment to meet manufacturers and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee the dispatch of equipment for external calibration, ensuring timely completion.
  • Monitor upcoming work requirements and plan accordingly.
  • Support the Technical team with ad-hoc engineering tasks as required.
  • Update, revise, and develop calibration processes and procedures.

Applicants must have previous experience in electrical calibration, testing, fault finding or verification, along with a solid understanding of electronic fault finding. A hands-on, methodical approach and keen attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
