NES Fircroft are currently looking for a Mechanical Separation Technician on a permanent basis in the Aberdeen area. The role of mechanical separation technician will be practical and multi-disciplined across a range of decanter centrifuges, disc stack separators and other separation equipment. When not offshore / posted to a job there will be a requirement for a workshop element to the role also.

This role will be based in Dyce however will be required to work offshore, and to site based work, when required. Working with a range of separation related equipment products throughsurveying, installing, servicing, commissioning and troubleshooting.

Key Activities and Tasks:
  • Learn and understand the rental Separation equipment
  • Assist the service delivery supervisor or manager in project managing any separation project, including liaising with suppliers and clients
  • Maintain asset maintenance and certification files
  • Assist where required with current equipment modifications
  • Assist Operations Department with any other required tasks where required
  • Actively participate in being involved in the new SQM management system
  • Attend all training courses provided by the company
  • Any other duties line manager deems necessary

Experience needed:

  • Disc Stack Centrifuge & Decanter equipment experience
  • Fluid Separation system process knowledge and technical understanding
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Offshore experience
UK residency is required for this role as there is no sponsorships available.
