Our client is looking for a Technical Assistant for a 2 year contract position, located in Aberdeen (Hybrid Working)

ROLE

The Technical Assistant shall support the wider OR&A Team, including interactions with the project team and client, to ensure all technical and administration support duties are delivered in an accurate and timely manner. The Technical Assistant will also be required to assist with other aspects of OR&A preparation as required, and as directed by the OR&A Manager. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the OR&A administration support activities
  • Developing, maintaining and updating the OR&A Action Tracking system    
  • Supporting OR&A team in tracking OR&A deliverables 
  • Communicating and collaborating with team, project and clients  
  • Organising, preparing and facilitating meetings 
  • Taking minutes of meeting, establishing action lists and assisting in following up of deliverables  
  • General support of and participation in the OR&A activities, including liaison with Contractor and Client, gathering data for statistics and preparing presentations 
  • Establishing, taking ownership and updating the OR&A and Aberdeen office Sharepoint sites 
    Other duties as required by the OR&A Manager  

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within administration, or HND in relevant technical or administrative discipline

Personal qualities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills applied to a multi-disciplined OR&A team
  • Excellent communications ability bot written and verbal
  • Experienced administrative background 
  • Positive approach to team and clients 
  • Must be flexible to take on additional tasks to assist company 
  • PC literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, in particular MS Excel and Teams
  • Team player with confidence to challenge the team, and be challenged
  • Proactive with independent working skills and good attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and plan the workload to meet deadlines to achieve required targets
  • Recent relevant experience of UK project execution is an advantage
