Are you a Field Specialist or a similar position with previous experience of working in Subsea services looking for an exciting next step in your career?

With a brand-new project win a global leader in energy innovation is recruiting for a Field Service Specialist to work on decommissioning open water installations internationally. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient decommissioning of over 50 subsea wellheads. Key responsibilities include removing plugs and preparing wellheads for off-rig transport, conducting thorough safety inspections on unused plugs to ensure secure operations, and performing tubing operations such as cutting, punching, and setting plugs to facilitate the safe removal of wells.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient Wellhead & Hydraulic Operations - operate valves, land wellheads, and handle tasks like circulating fluids, cutting tubing, and setting plugs to safely shut down wells.
  • Rig Connections & Surface Operations - Seamlessly connect to the rig and manage water systems for plugging and abandoning wells, using lightweight equipment while keeping everything secure.
  • Reliable Wellhead Maintenance & Safety - Ensure the longevity of older wells by checking for wear and safely reconnecting to prevent further damage.

*Full training on equipment mentioned above can be provided for right candidate

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in subsea operations, with a strong background in deep-water or open-water environments. Demonstrated ability to tackle the most complex challenges and deliver exceptional results in high-pressure, technically demanding conditions.
  • Hydraulic and ball valve experience is advantageous
  • Mechanical background and understanding of mechanical system are preferable
  • Open-water experience is a strong desirable trait to have but not essential
