Be-Resourcing is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Joint Venture Audit Manager/Assistant Manager with our client, one of Scotland's best Accounting Advisory businesses, based in Aberdeen. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in Advisory or External Audit looking to take the next step in their career particularly working with clients' within the oil and gas sector.

You will be responsible for leading and participating in Joint Venture and Contract audits, supporting the Joint Venture Audit Directors and Senior Managers, and managing various aspects of audit assignments, including client administration, audit planning, and reporting. As part of a tech-enabled business critical services group, you will contribute to our clients' mission of helping businesses navigate their financial and operational challenges.

Experience required:

  • Qualified/Part-Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent); applications from those qualified through experience with a minimum of 5 years will be considered.
  • Experience in an Upstream Finance environment
  • Demonstrated experience in participating in and preferably leading Joint Venture and Contract Audits.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Upstream Oil & Gas accounting, allocation systems, SOAPs, and commercial arrangements (JOA, TPOSA).
  • Proficient in Excel and audit software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with initiative and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
