MOT Tester

Hours : 40 hours per week across 5 days a week (This centre is closed on Sundays)

Annual Salary Of £30,900 - £37,000

Day to Day Duties

  • Carrying out inspections to judge vehicle roadworthiness
  • Following Ministry of Transport and DVSA test guidelines
  • Fitting brakes and exhausts
  • Fitting new tyres
  • Freplacing seatbelts
  • Cchecking vehicle oil levels and filters
  • Rreplacing cam belts and clutches
  • Ccleaning vehicle inspection bays
  • Carrying out vehicle quality control checks
  • Recording vehicle emission test results
  • Scheduling annual MOT training sessions
  • Maintaining personal MOT training logs

Essential Skills

  • Must have a full drivers licence with less than 9 points
  • Team player willing to assist in workshop carrying out light vehicle maintenance, when not performing MOT's

Desirable Experience

  • Current MOT Testing Licence (No licence? Other opportunities available for Technician's, please contact me for more details)
