TEXO Recruitmentis looking for aMud Cooling Technicianto join our external clients fantastic team based in Dyce, Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct equipment surveys and reports for offshore and land-based projects.
- Mobilise, install, and demobilise mud cooling equipment.
- Train rig personnel on equipment operation.
- Interpret rig layouts and P&ID diagrams.
- Maintain and service mud cooling equipment.
- Prepare equipment for mobilisation and ensure documentation is updated.
- Support project management and liaise with suppliers and clients.
- Maintain asset records and certification files.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE policies and report hazards.
- Participate in training, safety meetings, and operational improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering qualification (NC, HNC, HND, or apprenticeship).
- Offshore survival and medical certification.
- Knowledge of fluids and mud cooling systems.
- Effective communication, report writing, and proficiency in MS Office.
