QHSE Advisor- Aberdeen

This client is based in Aberdeen and provides fully integrated inspection packages to their clients.

The Role

The QHSE Advisor will be responsible for all aspects of company HSE. The position will be predominantly based In Aberdeen but with occasional travel to support personnel and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance, support and assistance with completion of company policies and procedures.
  • Complete HSEQ / Operational Audits & walk rounds both onshore and offshore.
  • Review personnel safety statistics and identify lessons learned.
  • Hold toolbox talks or present safety related topics to personnel.
  • Complete and/or review and approve Risk Assessments for Company and Site Specifics.
  • Produce and roll out company Safety Alerts.
  • Lead External Audits.
  • Support and/or lead Non-Conformance and Accidence Investigations.
  • Support Input and Output of HSE Plans - Client and Company specific.
  • Work with QHSE Manager, Area Managers and Team Leaders to ensure H&S Compliance.
  • Support & Participation in Company and Client Safety Meetings.
  • Collation, Participation and Control of Safety Stand Downs and Toolbox Talks.
  • Utilise and maintain internal HSEQ system iComply.

Experience, knowledge and qualifications

  • A thorough understanding of UK QHSE legislation and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, is crucial.
  • An understanding and previous experience with ISO 17020 advantageous.
  • Experience in both internal and external Auditing.
  • Experience in leading and/or supporting NCR or Accident investigation.
  • Strong IT skills and experience in the maintenance of QHSE related systems.
  • Qualified in IOSH / NEBOSH.
