First People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HSE Advisor for their client in Aberdeen. The HSE Advisor is responsible for providing Health, Safety and Environmental support to the organisations and European operations as required. Travel will be required for this role. The HSE Advisor will be required to demonstrate a thorough understanding and knowledge of regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement whilst working within a dynamic and focused team. It is essential you hold NEBOSH qualification or have extensive relevant experience. Experience of ISO14001 and ISO 45001is also desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Development of procedures and processes to support ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications.
  • Review of environmental regulation to update procedures as required to ensure continued compliance. Environmental auditing.
  • Assist and engage with line Managers and Supervisors to develop Departmental Risk Assessments, COSHH and Ergonomic Risk Assessments through use of MAC, RAPP etc assessment tools, DSE.
  • Prepare accident investigation reports.
  • Monitor accident records and analyse data for trends.
  • Carry out UK/Europe base health safety and environmental audits.
  • Support the ISO14001 and 45001 audit programmes.
  • Undertaking Root cause analysis & identifying HSE issues.
