AboutThe Client

As part of theirContinued growth. Our Client is seekinga driven and focused individual to join our IT team as a Junior BusinessSystems Support Analyst. This role is based at our Head Office in Aberdeen,with the opportunity to support our global divisions worldwide.

RoleOverview

In this role,you will primarily provide 1st line support for the business systems usedwithin our Head Office. You will also be part of the group IT Team, supportingall divisions. The emphasis will be on our main business ERP system, MicrosoftDynamics GP, and its supporting applications. Experience with this system or asimilar application is preferred. Technical knowledge of Microsoft applicationsand suites such as MS365, MS Server 2016/2022, and MS Windows 10/11 Pro wouldbe an advantage.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Provide first line support to all users, requiring excellent people skills and strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Document user requirements accurately to liaise effectively with 2nd line support and 3rd party suppliers for application issues or bespoke customization.
  • Manage installation and upgrades of applications.
  • Provide end user training.
  • Work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to working hours to support our remote office locations and the demands of the business.

KeySkills and Experience

  • Good level of experience with Windows 10/11 Operating Systems and understanding of application infrastructure.
  • Proficient in all MS365 Entra and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Some experience in report writing and design.
  • Experience in end user support using a helpdesk system and communicating resolutions in a timely manner.
