Overview

Are you a talented Systems Engineer seeking a new and exciting challenge? Do you excel at providing 2nd/3rd line support and managing an efficient IT support service? If so, this opportunity might be perfect for you. In this role, you will uphold a high level of professionalism while interacting with both IT team members and client staff. Additionally, you will collaborate with our clients to ensure their business and IT systems function smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 to 2022 (Administer, deploy, configure).
  • Management of Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • User technical support to users, both remotely and on-site as needed.
  • Administer Server Operating Systems from Server 2012 to Server 2022.
  • Support LAN/WAN hardware and router configurations.
  • Understand and support WIFI platforms.
  • Visit client sites to assist with the implementation and installation of new IT platforms

Requirements

  • A proven established track record in IT infrastructure and networking.
  • Advanced skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare, Citrix, and networking technologies.
  • Experience with cloud computing, Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with Server Operating Systems from Server 2003 to Server 2022.
  • Proficiency in O365 administration.
  • Strong IP troubleshooting skills, including DHCP, DNS, and IP addressing.
  • Competent in administering Azure AD, user accounts, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of firewall technologies and router/connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Experience with peripherals and hardware.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Successful candidates may be required to meet security requirements for this role before they can be appointed. You must have rights to work in the UK, and able to gain UK security clearances. Candidates will be required to have or obtain security vetting to enhanced DBS / Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) level as part of the recruitment offer process
