Our client is looking for a Welder / Mechanical Fitter for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen. 39 hours per week (Monday – Friday) overtime as and when required at an enhanced rate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and assemble based on engineering drawings and specifications
  • Must have TIG, and MIG welding experience, carbon steel and Stainless steel.
  • Working mainly in small lightweight fabrications to a high standard.
  • The candidate would be expected to make small brackets on there own initiative.
  • Should be competent in mechanical fitting, building new equipment.
  • Candidate should have the flexibility working on a variety of products.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Knowledge of codes and standards related to fabrication and assembly processes
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely
  • This is a challenging role that requires technical skills in fabrication, welding and assembly.
  • The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong mechanical aptitude, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
