Powered Access Engineer

Salary: up to £42,000 per annum DOE

Are you an experienced engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled Powered Access Engineer to join our client's team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will be a mixture of depot and mobile, therefore you will be required to travel to customer sites where you will be handling equipment breakdown repairs, documenting any customer-related damage, and managing warranty matters as needed.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Comprehensive Equipment Maintenance: Conduct PDIs, routine servicing, LOLER inspections, and carry out repairs to keep our fleet running at peak performance.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all servicing and maintenance adhere to manufacturer specifications, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
  • Repair & Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems efficiently.
  • Record Management: Maintain precise records for all services, inspections, and repairs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team and hire office to maintain high machine availability and excellent customer service.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in the powered access sector is essential.
  • Qualifications: Ideally you will hold industry specific qualifications such as CAP and IPAF (Desirable)
  • Technical Skills: A strong grasp of diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Commitment to Excellence: A proactive approach to learning and continuous professional development.
