Our client is currently recruiting for a Senior Planning Engineer. Based in Aberdeen, the role is on a permanent basis and offers hybrid working,

ROLE:  

Senior Planner and planning focal point for two of our recently won Projects

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively identify schedule risks and opportunities and engage with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintaining and developing progress monitoring, forecasting and dashboards in both PowerBI and Primavera P6 to support project performance measurements and to engage stakeholders.
  • Preparing planning related reports such as narratives and status reports
  • Setting up progress monitoring and forecasting systems
  • Preparing planned versus as-built, hindcasting, lessons learnt
  • Support department improvement initiatives and creating standards.
  • Preparing reporting’s to substantiate claims
  • Preparing planned versus as-built, hindcasting and lessons learnt
  • Representing Seaway7 with planning related matters to Clients and Subcontractors
  • Travel to our vessels during the offshore execution and visit our various offices in other countries.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum a bachelor's degree in a technical direction (BSc.), preferably Industrial Engineering, Maritime Technology, Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of planning experience.
  • Experience with planning software Primavera P6
  • Skills in all Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
  • Affinity with Power Pivot and PowerBI are advantageous.
  • Eager to learn about our specific offshore business and associated planning methods
  • A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Organizational qualities.
  • Advanced communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
