Are you a driven and experienced Town Planner looking to advance your career? We are seeking a talented Senior Town Planner to join a leading planning consultancy in Aberdeen. About the Role: As a Senior Town Planner, you will take the lead on a range of planning applications and development proposals. You'll manage client relationships, provide strategic planning advice, and guide projects through the planning process, from pre-application discussions to securing planning permissions. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex planning applications and appeals
  • Provide expert advice on planning policies, development frameworks, and environmental considerations
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, and the public
  • Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and impact assessments
  • Support and mentor junior planners within the team
  • Ensure compliance with planning regulations and policies

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in Town Planning, ideally with MRTPI or equivalent accreditation
  • Strong knowledge of Scottish planning policy and legislation
  • Proven track record of managing projects and delivering results
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
