The General UK Freight Manager will oversee the operations, logistics, and management of all freight activities within the UK.   • Manage and coordinate all freight operations across the UK, including inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise freight processes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
  • Ensure compliance with UK transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Monitor and manage freight budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Lead and develop a team of logistics and operations professionals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Resolve any issues related to freight transportation, including delays, damages, and customer complaints.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in freight management, logistics, or a related field.
