Our client, a leading manufacturer located near Portlethen, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team.
This role offers a dayshift schedule and involves fault finding and diagnostics during both emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance.
Candidates should possess excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, along with an apprentice-trained/HNC or equivalent qualification in a mechanical discipline.
Experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector would be advantageous for applicants.
The position offers a competitive salary of £45,000 per year, with a requirement of at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Our client is a leading manufacturer based near Portlethen and are looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their team. The company has had extensive investment in recent times and are looking to expand their team!! This is a dayshift based role.

The Role:

Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown or planned situations
Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant

The Candidate:

Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills,
Apprentice trained/HNC or equivalent qualification in a Mechanical qualification
Experience within FMCG would be beneficial
