Are you a Calibration Engineer with experience working on marine equipment or similar looking to join a market leading company offering regular development and training opportunities?

This company is a leading global provider of specialist subsea equipment to sectors including offshore renewables, marine science, Oil and gas. Having operated for over 20 years, the company is expanding creating an opportunity for ambitious and innovative people.

In this role you will be responsible for the calibration of marine survey equipment to the manufacturers and industry standards, accurately recording any information and results. You will also be responsible for the repairing, organising and overseeing dispatch of equipment for external calibration and ensuring completion.

The Role

  • Calibration of marine survey equipment to the manufacturing and industry stands outlined
  • Developing and implementing calibration processes and procedures for various measurements and testing of equipment
  • Servicing instruments and completing minor repairs when necessary
  • Organising the dispatch of equipment for external calibration and ensuring completion
  • Supporting the other departments within the business on engineering work and requirements

The Person

  • Experience in electrical calibration, quality inspection, QC and testing
  • Working knowledge of electronic fault finding
  • Marine/subsea industry knowledge
