Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Fitter. Our client is a leading provider of hydraulic solutions, committed to delivering high-quality services to their clients. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. Looking to move to the area? Mechanical Technician Responsibilities & Key Results Area:- System Fault Finding: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical system faults with precision and efficiency. - Overhauling of Hydraulic Mechanical Equipment: Conduct thorough overhauls of hydraulic machinery to ensure optimal performance. - Pressure Testing: Perform pressure tests to verify the integrity and functionality of mechanical systems. - Hot Oil Flushing: Execute hot oil flushing procedures to maintain equipment efficiency. - Overseeing Builds: Supervise the assembly and construction of mechanical systems. - Site Services: Provide on-site services, including maintenance, repairs, and installations. - Site Surveys/Writing Detailed Reports: Conduct site surveys and prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations. - Document Inspection Reports: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities. - Ensure Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with PTS Services QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) systems. Experience, Competence, Skills & Knowledge:- Experience: Proven track record with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. - Mechanical/Hydraulic Certificate: Possess relevant certifications in mechanical and hydraulic systems. - Full Clean Driving License / right to work in the UK: Valid and unrestricted driving license & full right to work in the UK.- Fault Finding Experience: Demonstrated expertise in identifying and resolving mechanical system faults and schematics. - Technical Knowledge/Awareness: In-depth understanding of mechanical and hydraulic solutions. Hours of Work: Monday - Friday permanent days.
