The Role:
- Position: Mechanical Workshop QC Inspector
- Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Main Duties:
- Inspection of parts & assemblies in reference to mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, and checklists
- Witness function & qualification tests
- Inspect documentation & certification for completeness and accuracy
- Assess wear & damage on components through dimensional & visual checks
- Compile inspection reports and maintain accurate records
- Handle concession requests & non-conformance reports in compliance with QA procedures
- Coordinate with Client/Customer onsite Third-party Inspections
- Review & sign off inspection packages
- Control & maintain calibration records for workshop equipment (Gauges, Hoses, Transducers, etc.)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of QC inspection processes & procedures
- 5+ years experience as a Mechanical QC Inspector (preferred)
- Oilfield downhole electro-mechanical tools experience (preferred)
- Database system experience (preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- PC literacy, including Quality software & Microsoft Office
- Engineering drawing & Bill of Material interpretation skills
Education:

- Ideally NC level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- English & Maths at Grade C or above
