Aker Solutions in Dyce, Aberdeen are looking for a Lead Process Engineer for a brownfield M&M contract.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with an expectation for 2-3 days in the office per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage small team of process engineers delivering brownfield modification projects
  • Prepare estimates for Brownfield modifications projects
  • Complete weekly progress ensuring on time and and on budget delivery
  • Raise design change notes and change requests when required
  • Define process scope for study and detail design projects
  • Prepare P&IDs, calculations, linelists associated with scopes
  • Attend HAZOP and LOPAs
  • Review and comment on vendor information
  • Carry out single and inter-discipline checks and reviews
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience of offshore brownfield modification projects
  • Minimum 8 years oil and gas experience
  • Ideally previous proven experience in lead position but development role will be considered
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards
  • Conversant with appropriate technical software
  • Experience in client facing roles
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Good team working skills Pro-active attitude
Education:
Degree in Chemical Engineering
