Seeking experienced Electrical Vendor Inspectors for: ABERDEEN and other UK locations, specialising in inspecting rental/temporary mobile equipment for offshore use. Projects may also entail overseeing manufacturing and commissioning processes for various equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct third-party inspections and release of vendor equipment, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Attend vendor manufacturing facilities, witness function and acceptance tests, review certifications, and maintain manufacturing records.
- Generate technical reports and address non-conformances as necessary.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Electrical NC/HNC qualification.
- Prior experience in hazardous environments.
- Familiarity with offshore and electrical industry standards.
- Preferably COMPEX 01-04 or ATEX awareness certified.
- Proficiency in computer literacy for report writing.
These roles are on an adhoc basis, with assignments scheduled as per project requirements. LTD company holders welcome.
