Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience working on drilling equipment, looking to head up a small team of engineers in a busy workshop, allowing you to make a real impact?

They specialize in equipment repair and installation for the oil and gas industry, with a great reputation for customer service and employee development.

Day to day, you will be responsible for supervising the assembly and testing of specialist drilling, transporting and handling equipment. This role is predominately site based, with occasional travel to client sites. Some offshore work will be required, every few months. This is a days only role, between the hours of 8-4:30.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter with Supervisory experience looking for a days only, site based role within a growing company, offering great training and progression opportunities.

The Role:

  • Supervising a small team of technicians
  • Building special purpose machinery in the workshop
  • Working with sub-assemblies, pneumatics, bearings, driveshafts, and pipework
  • Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:30
  • Optional overtime, paid 1.5x

The Person:

  • Mechanical Fitter
  • Supervisory experience
