Production Team LeadAberdeen

We're on the lookout for a Production Team Lead who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for safety, quality, and performance to join our growing client on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll play a key role in driving our production team forward. From executing production plans to promoting a culture of continuous improvement, this is a dynamic opportunity for a natural leader with a hands-on approach. The role will predominantly be working the back shift rotation and hours of work on this will be 4.30pm - 3.30am daily, Monday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion a safety-first culture across the factory and yard using visual checks, audits, and other safety tools.

  • Monitor and support team performance in collaboration with the Production Supervisor and Charge Hand.

  • Drive the production of superstructure components in line with quality and safety standards.

  • Lead the implementation of LEAN processes and inspire your team to contribute to continuous improvement goals.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure your team is aligned with current and future workloads and business objectives.

  • Support product and process development, overcoming logistical and manufacturing challenges.

  • Provide support and cover for the Production Supervisor or Charge Hand as needed.

  • Train and develop team members to meet evolving business needs.

  • Foster strong working relationships across departments to support smooth operations.

  • Strong leadership skills and experience in team supervision.

  • A knack for building high-performing teams and creating a collaborative environment.

  • Capability to control material usage and reduce waste.

  • Solid product knowledge and the ability to apply it practically.
