Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial and contractual aspects of residential developments to ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and control project costs, preparing accurate forecasts and reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct valuations and certify payments to contractors and suppliers in line with agreed terms.
- Provide detailed cost analyses, risk assessments, and solutions to maintain project efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of objectives.
- Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and supply chain partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous development and excellence.
Key Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the residential construction or homebuilding sector.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage costs effectively.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of contracts, procurement, and relevant building legislation.
- Proficiency in using financial management tools and software.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
