Role: Team LeaderLocation: AberdeenService: Adult & Community ServicesSalary: £30k - £32k depending on experienceDelighted to be working with an incredible care provider in Aberdeen, hiring for multiple Team Leaders. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the standards of the services are met to the needs of each user. Key Responsibilities:* Communicate with team members and service users with the ability to discuss sensitive topics.* Carry out administrative duties including recording and reporting on both manual and computerised systems for the purpose of management.* Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times including medication administration and accident reporting. * Assist service users with daily tasks.* Comply with care standards and policies with an understanding of how they impact the service. * Take responsibility of developing care plans to meet each individuals specific requirements. * Staff management - support the recruitment process, assess performance, provide feedback, support the development of training and knowledge, implement disciplinary and grievance procedures where necessary. * Continuously monitoring service delivery to look for improvement opportunities. Qualification/Experience:* SCQF Level 6 (SVQ 2) in Health & Social Care or equivalent recognised by SSSC.* Ability to complete SCQF Level 7 (SVQ 3) in Health & Social Care if not already achieved.* Experience in the care sector is essential. * Knowledge in H&S regulations and certificate in food hygiene is desirable but not essential.* Record keeping.* Problem solving. * Basic IT skills.
