In this role you will programming and commissioning distributed control systems used within process engineering. This means you will sometimes be required to travel out to Oil Rigs or Platforms for 2 weeks at a time. When not out in the field, you will be preparing systems for installation in a Aberdeen-based HQ.This company employ over 18,500 employees globally and are market leaders in the design, installation and service of advanced industrial automation technology. This role would suit a Junior Systems Engineer, PLC Programmer or Service Engineer looking to step into and off-the-tools, programming based role.The Role:
- Full training on programming bespoke Distributed Control Systems
- Realistic OTE of £70K+
- Some travel Offshore in 2 week blocks
- All expenses covered, staying away bonus and a 7K car allowance
- 37.5 hours per week, flexible working
- Continuous development plans and full training provided
The Person:
- Junior Systems Engineer, PLC Programmer, Service Engineer or similar
- Controls / PLC / DCS Programming knowledge
- Happy with working away from home, up to 2 weeks at a time
- Full UK Drivers Licence
